Who is responsible
King’s Counsel AI is a trading name of MEDIA CITY AI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16446462). Information collected
For contact enquiries we collect your name, email, optional organisation, enquiry type, message and submission time. For Design Preview access we collect your name, email, optional phone number, organisation or practice, visitor type, an indicative investment range if you select Investor, or a range for the number of practising lawyers if you select a firm or chambers. We record verification, access and optional marketing choices. Please do not submit confidential client material.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your details to answer your enquiry, provide the viewing link, prevent misuse of the access form and understand interest in the proposed product. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requested contact, operating a controlled preview and understanding interest, subject to your rights and interests. If you separately opt in to product or investment updates, we rely on your consent to send those emails. Access does not require marketing consent. We do not use form submissions to train a legal AI model or sell contact details.
Service providers and location
Enquiries and preview-access records are stored by this website’s hosting infrastructure. Resend sends access links and, where configured, enquiry alerts to office@kingscounsel.ai. These providers process data on our behalf under their service arrangements. We do not claim UK-only storage or processing for this marketing website. Planned UK data residency for the future legal product is a separate goal.
Retention
New viewing links and the corresponding browser access expire 14 days after issue. We keep non-marketing Design Preview request records for up to 12 months after the last request and remove expired records during routine access processing and administrative review. If you opt in to updates, we keep your contact and consent record until you withdraw consent or we cease the updates. Contact enquiries are kept only while needed to respond and manage reasonable follow-up, then reviewed for removal.
Your rights and choices
You may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, by emailing office@kingscounsel.ai. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time through that address. We will consider your request under applicable law. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how we use your data.
